New (Nov.11, 2023)
We are recruiting a highly motivated PhD candidate
The project is part of a Marie Curie Actions Doctoral Network - CherISH - founded by the European Union on the theme of “Cochlear Implants and Spatial Hearing.
Brief summary of the project #3:
Acoustic information processes more rapidly in cochlear implants compared to hearing aids, leading to a bias in the interaural time difference and sound localization when using both devices in combination. By adjusting the time difference through a delay in the cochlear implant signal, this bias can be corrected, eventually enhancing spatial hearing. University of Tübingen, Germany.
Supervisors: Prof. Dr. Hubert Löwenheim, Dr. Thore Schade-Mann.
